On 06 May, ERFA will hold its annual #Event where representatives of rail freight industry and EU institutions will discuss how to relaunch European rail freight.
Dirk Stahl, President of ERFA and CEO of BLS Cargo will make some introductory remarks about the status of the rail freight sector and how to relaunch it.
Several keynote speakers will then share their views:
- Christa Hostettler - Director of Federal Office of Transport, Switzerland
- Piotr Malepszak - Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Poland
- Kristian Schmidt - Director - Land, DG MOVE, European Commission
- Godfried Smit - Secretary General of the European Shippers Council (ESC)
- Henrik Würdemann - CEO of Captrain Deutschland, President of Die Güterbahnen
A panel discussion and a Q&A session moderated by Maria Price, ERFA Secretary General will follow.
Concluding remarks by Dirk Stahl.
The Event will be followed by standing lunch and networking.
