On 24 June, ERFA will gather decision-makers and rail stakeholders to discuss the future of rail freight and how to adapt to Europe's new realities, among them the increasing importance of rail freight, the expectations of rail freight customers and the plans of the new direction of the EU's Agency for Railways (ERA). The event will take place from 10:00 up until 14:00 at TownHall Europe in Brussels.
Following an introduction address from Dirk Stahl, CEO of BLS Cargo and President of ERFA, the event will include one of the first public keynote speeches of the newly appointed Executive Director of ERA Oana Gherghinescu. A panel discussion will follow with a number of speakers, including Colonel Gert Dobben, a Dutch military with deep experience and knowledge on military mobility, Marc Giesen, CEO of rail freight private undertaking Hector Rail GmbH, and Luca Senis, Road & Intermodal Logistics Director of chemical company Dow Benelux B.V. The panel will also include a representative of the European Commission (to be confirmed very soon). The event will be followed by standing lunch and networking.
ERFA is looking forward to welcoming you at the Event.
